\nAnd He inclined to me,
\nAnd heard my cry.
\n2\u00a0<\/sup>He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
\nOut of the miry clay,
\nAnd set my feet upon a rock,
\nAnd<\/em>\u00a0established my steps.
\n3\u00a0<\/sup>He has put a new song in my mouth\u2014
\nPraise to our God;
\nMany will see\u00a0it<\/em>\u00a0and fear,
\nAnd will trust in the\u00a0Lord.<\/p>\n
\nAnd does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
\n5\u00a0<\/sup>Many, O\u00a0Lord\u00a0my God,\u00a0are<\/em>\u00a0Your wonderful works
\nWhich<\/em>\u00a0You have done;
\nAnd Your thoughts toward us
\nCannot be recounted to You in order;

\nBurnt offering and sin offering You did not require.

\nI have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth

\nLet Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
\n12\u00a0<\/sup>For innumerable evils have surrounded me;
\nMy iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up;
\nThey are more than the hairs of my head;
\nTherefore my heart fails me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nO\u00a0Lord, make haste to help me!
\n14\u00a0<\/sup>Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion
\nWho seek to destroy my life;
\nLet them be driven backward and brought to dishonor
\nWho wish me evil.
\n15\u00a0<\/sup>Let them be confounded because of their shame,
\nWho say to me, \u201cAha, aha!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nLet such as love Your salvation say continually,
\n\u201cThe\u00a0Lord\u00a0be magnified!\u201d
